The Muddogs Baseball Club makes it our mission to get players to the next level.
The Club was started in Summer of 2013 by Reggie Allred and Matt Brown. Allred has been a high school baseball coach for over ten years and has coached in four state championships over that time. He spent one season as the Eastern Randolph Post 81 Head Coach during the summer, and several as the fall coach. Brown was a graduate of Eastern Randolph High School where he was an All American. He committed to North Carolina State University but opted out of college and was drafted by the Montreal Expos. Brown spent four years in the organization.
Both Allred and Brown started the program with hopes that they would help every player that came through their program to advance to the next level (if the player chose to). Being a part of the Muddogs' family is more about enjoying the game and playing it the right way than anything else. We firmly believe that if our guys are having fun, they will perform better.
Throughout our history, we have sent over 60 former players to college. These players have gone on to play at D1, D2, and D3 universities/colleges, along with several players playing at NJCAA, NAIA, and NCCAA institutions. In addition, we have some players playing professionally.
Our head coaches played professionally, played in college, coached in college, or coached at a high level, so the players instruction is top notch. At the Muddogs Baseball Club, we believe that it is our job to guide players on what they need to do to play at the next level, instruct them on how to get better, to play to win, AND to have fun doing all of this.
